Job Profile
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our expanding finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing invoicing processes. The ideal candidate should be proactive, efficient under pressure, and capable of managing financial tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations Support: Assist in managing daily financial activities, ensure smooth processes and work closely with the Finance Manager.
- Accounts Payable: Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals, and review for discrepancies.
- Invoicing: Handle intercompany and third-party invoicing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Financial Closings: Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow), and provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist in audits, compliance tasks, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder of Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar industry is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus
- Based in Nicosia, with occasional travel required for business needs
- Fluent in Greek & English (written and spoken)
