Job Profile
The Operations Coordinator assists in the daily coordination of equipment movements, scheduling, and support functions for rental and project operations. This role is critical in ensuring equipment, operators, and services are efficiently allocated and tracked to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Mainly responsible for full manpower planning, day-to-day project operations, and logistics coordination.
- Coordinate the daily dispatch and return of earthmoving equipment based on project requirements.
- Maintain and update equipment movement logs, rental schedules, and job status reports.
- Liaise with workshop, logistics, and site teams to confirm equipment readiness and availability.
- Support the allocation and tracking of operators, drivers, and support staff across various project sites.
- Monitor and report fleet availability, utilization, and job completion status.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions, including transfer records, TPCs (equipment and personnel), gate passes, and port passes.
- Act as a point of contact between the operations team and clients regarding scheduling updates and site requirements.
- Assist in preparing daily and weekly operational reports, including equipment mobilization and demobilization activities.
- Support preventive maintenance scheduling in coordination with the workshop team.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.at
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in operations coordination, preferably in equipment rental, logistics, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery and equipment deployment procedures.
- Familiarity with major construction equipment brands such as CAT, Komatsu, JCB, Hitachi, and similar equipment manufacturers.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive requests efficiently.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and operational reporting systems is an advantage.
