Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an organized and experienced procurement officer to join our team:
- You will identify, evaluate and select suppliers for equipment spare parts. You will source both domestic and international suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate terms and prepare purchase orders.
- You will build and maintain a strong relationship with our suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure timely delivery and compliance with the agreements.
- You will issue detailed comparison sheets for each procurement project and you will ensure all procurement processes are followed.
- You manage import/export documentation and you ensure that it is compliant with regulations for international purchases.
- You will maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
- You resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues and product discrepancies.
- You will communicate with internal department to ensure smooth operations and uninterrupted supply.
Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically with expertise to spare parts or technical equipment.
- You are familiar with heavy equipment spare parts procurement knowledge (cranes/heavy lifting or earthmoving spare parts)
- You have strong proficiency in the English language, with excellent writing and reading skills.
- You have a hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel and you are proficient with procurement software.
- You have strong negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills, you are able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
