Job Profile
We are looking for an experienced Sales Officer to join our Crane Department. This role combines commercial insight with a technical understanding of crane operations. As a key member of the team, the Sales Officer will handle client inquiries, prepare offers, follow up on ongoing projects, and support the coordination between clients and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for new and existing clients within the crane rental segment.
- Identify customer needs and propose the most suitable crane solutions based on technical and operational requirements.
- Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and rental agreements.
- Visit client sites to assess lifting requirements and ensure feasibility of proposed crane operations.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and planning teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Actively seek and generate new leads through networking, market research, and client referrals.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Participate in internal sales meetings and strategy sessions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Ensure all activities comply with company standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (Construction, Electro-mechanical, or a related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role, preferably within the crane, heavy equipment or construction industries.
- Strong communications and negotiation skills.
- Ability to priorities workload and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive attitude with commercial insight and customer focus.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
