Job Profile
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient processing of orders. The role requires a strong understanding of inventory systems and software, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory systems to ensure accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing warehouse products.
Record Keeping
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities, including shipments, inventory counts and order processing.
- Ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve any that may arise during the project.
Order Processing & Shipping
- Oversee the complete process of order fulfillment from end to end, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
Technical, Financial, & Administrative Tasks
- Generate regular reports related to inventory levels, order status and warehouse activities for management.
- Utilize knowledge of technical warehouse operations, particularly in handling spare parts for heavy equipment, to ensure proper storage and tracking.
- Manage and maintain data within warehouse management software, ensuring systems are accurate and up-to-date.
- Analyze and address any issues related to inventory, order processing or shipping, applying problem-solving skills to resolve challenges.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers and clients to ensure smooth operations and timely responses to inquiries
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure the efficiency of warehouse functions.
Qualifications
- A qualified candidate must possessed the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are a plus.
- Preferably having an expertise with spare parts of heavy equipment
- Proven experience in a warehouse or administrative role, with a background in managing inventory systems and order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Powerpoint and/or warehouse management software.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weighs and perform other physical tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
